  7. My Pop-pop was an amazing man. I’m going to miss him so much.

  8. To Bob, Kathy, David, Gary and your families, My family and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad, Andy. I am sorry I/we missed the service on Saturday morning; I was out of town at the time. Your father and his late wife Carol were wonderful people. They will be sorely missed by many. As someone said in a previous memorial statement above; Andy’s legacy will live on in all of you and all of the people who’s hearts he touched in the 75 years of his life. He is with God now and back with his beloved Carol. I believe he will always be looking down from Heaven and smiling (as he did so often and so well) and comforted when he sees all of you; knowing you are all well. Peace be with all of you in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Vivian J. (Urkuski) Stetzler

  9. Dave, Bobby, Kathy, Gary,

My deepest condolences to all of you and your families. Something brought me to search for the Shilling name on the internet today, as I’ve been out of touch with all of you for so long and I found that your father has passed. I’m so sorry to hear of this.

I’ll never forget him. I especially remember the times spent at his house visiting and he would occasionally show us that he really could play a few chords on the guitar! He was a fun man with a GREAT, dry sense of humor that I always enjoyed. I’ll never forget visiting him as a young boy at the Union Fire Company and his letting us “look but don’t touch” the trucks. I have always respected him for his profession. He was a good man.

    God bless all of you.

    Your Friend,

    Scott
