Schade,Donna M.

Donna M. Schade, 55, of Shillington, passed away Friday, February 12th, 2010, in her residence.

Donna was born in Reading on June 16, 1954, the daughter of Albert and June M. (Nittinger) Schade of Muhlenberg Twp.

She was employed as a nurse by Prostat.

She was a 1972 graduate of Reading High School and also a graduate of RACC.

Donna is survived by
a son,Seth A. Dowdell of Reading.

Donna is also survived by
a sister, Jo Ann Retnouer of Leesport and
two brothers, Albert D. Schade of Mohrsville and Gary L. Schade of Hunter,Pa.

She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Services from the Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services,Inc,1501 N. 11th St., Reading, at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 17th.

Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Interment private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Police Athletic League of Greater Reading, 325 Walnut St. ,Reading, Pa. 19601.

  6. How very sad.I have known Donna for over five years.We are both nurses and worked together at 3 various jobs.Donna was funny,kind and very compassionate.Donna will be sadly missed by all who loved her.I’m sure she is at peace now.God Bless her and your Family,Sincerely,Susan Nielsen

  22. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Schade, Al, Joanne and Gary, I was very sorry to hear about Donna’s death. If I could go through my school years again, I wouldn’t change a thing, Donna was a great friend and I have such fun memories of us all together. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

  23. I grew up on the 1100 block of Birch St., 2 doors down from Seth and Donna. She was such a great person and was a great neighbor. My deepest condolences to Seth and the Schade family.

    I just heard the sad news from my Mother & I’m shocked!! My entire childhood was centered around our friendship & even though we haven’t seen each other for years..I feel her loss deeply. Having read all of the above condolences it sounds like nothing has changed about my dear friend. She was always a wonderfully fun & caring person!! I am truly sorry for your loss.
