Arthur Kipp,Jr., 77, of Reading, passed away at 12:15 AM, Monday, March 1st, 2010, at Reading Hospital .
Arthur was born in Womelsdorf on August 22, 1932, the son of the late Arthur And Lillie(Oberley) Kipp.
He was the husband of Carolee (Vath) Kipp.
He was employed as a tractor trailer driver at Interstate Container for 40 years. He retired in 1998.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
He also was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church,Reading.
Arthur is survived by
a daughter, Melissa E. wife of Stephen Evans of Muhlenberg Twp.,
two sons Gregory B. husband of Valeria Kipp of Reading,Rodney M. husband of Tammie Kipp of Muhlenberg Twp.
Arthur is also survived by
a brother, Richard ,husband of Betty Weik of Denver.
He is also survived by 8 grandsons.
Services from the Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services,Inc.,1501 N. 11th St. , Reading, at 1:30 PM on Friday, March 5th.
Friends are invited to call Friday 12:30-1:30 PM. at the funeral home.
Interment at Spies-Zion Cemetery .

When I was young and Mr. & Mrs. Kipp would take me out for ice-cream with Rodney, Mr. Kipp would always tease me because I ate the ice-cream slowly. Everyone would be done eating before me. What a fun time we had. He was a very caring man and I will never forget the fun times we had.
