Billman, Ruth M.

Ruth M. Billman, 99, of Shillington, formerly of Reading, she passed away peacefully,Monday, October 2nd, at Mifflin Center.

Ruth was born in Reading, on March 16, 1918, a daughter of the late Gertrude (Witchey) and Frank Dixon.

She was the widow of Donald D. Billman. Mr. Billman died April 15, 1980.

Ruthie was a hard worker, enjoyed gardening and was a great dancer. Ruthie and Bill spent many happy times with family, dancing, dining, walking and shopping.

Ruth is survived by
three step daughters, Karla, wife of Roy Lewars, of Sinking Spring; Maria, wife of Scott McDevitt, of Antietam; Michele, wife of John Griffith, of Englewood, FL.

Ruth is also survived by
2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister in law Adelle (Dolly) Dixon.

Mrs. Billman was predeceased a son Robert E. Billman, November 1, 1987; and her companion of 30+ years William J. Roth; and a sister Sarah R. Hute and brothers Donald D. and William Dixon.

Services are private at the convenience of family. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
