Carrie D. Coldren, 93,formerly of Reading, passed away Sunday, December 18th, at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. She was transferred from Berks Heim where she had resided since March 7,2008.
Carrie was born in Reading, on February 23, 1918, a daughter of the late Mary A. (Davis) Ash.
She was the widow of Wayne I. Coldren. He died May 6,1977.

Esther R. Grim, 86, formerly of Reading, passed away Saturday, December 3rd, at the Heritage Center,Muhlenberg Twp.
Esther was born in Reading on March 23, 1925, a daughter of the late Mary E. (Gantz) and Luther Witmyer.
She was the widow of Donald G. Grim,Sr. He died August 3,1989.
She was a member of of the former St. Stephen’s UCC,Reading .
Esther is survived by
three sons Barry L.,husband of Renee Grim, of Reading, Dale E.husband of Shelley Grim of Reading and Donald G. Jr.,husband of Sandy Grim, of Salisbury,MD.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

William J. Heffner, 80, formerly of Reading,passed away Thursday, December 1st, at Spring Creek Health Center, Harrisburg.
William was born in Reading, on May 28, 1931, a son of the late Carrie E. (Knapp) and Elmer J. Heffner.
He was the widower of Roberta M. Heffner. She died 2/17/2004.
William was employed by Bortz Candy Factory for 20 years.
William is survived by
a daughter, Linda Gauvey, of Marietta,Pa. and
a son,Brian D. Heffner, of Reading.
He is also survived by 1 grandson-William Gauvey.
He was predeceased by a son,William J. Jr., and 4 brothers,Clayton,Lester,Roland and Pete Heffner.

Robert P. Delp, 82, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, November 29th, at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Robert was born in Reading on October 16, 1929, a son of the late Catherine (Holland) and James Delp.
He was the widower of Catherine C. (Swiderski) Delp. She died in 1986.
He was employed in the street department by the City of Reading for 36 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Reading, .
Robert loved his Philllies,Eagles and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Robert is survived by
a daughter, Lisa A. Delp, of Reading and
a son,Robert S. Delp, of Blandon.
Robert is also survived by
a brother, James Delp, of Lutherville,MD.
He is also survived by 3 grandchildren-Matthew R.-husband of Jessica Delp,Ashley M. Delp and Alyssa C. Delp and 4 great grandchilden,Tyler J. Delp,Chase M. Delp,Lucas J. Carattini and Lily M. Delp.

Harvey L. Texter, 91, of Reading, passed away Thursday, November 24th, peacefully, at Mifflin Center, Shillington.
Harvey was born in Reading, on June 27, 1920, a son of the late Elizabeth and Cleveland Texter.
He was the widower of Catherine R. (O’Byle) Texter. She died in May 1983.
Harvey worked at the former Merritts Lumber, Reading.
Mr. Texter was a member of Teamsters Local 429.
Harvey is survived by
a brother, William Texter, of Maryland. 2 Daughter in Laws Joy C. (Hilton) Texter of Reading and Beverly J. (Schaeffer) Texter of Sinking Spring.
He is also survived by 6 grandchidlren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sons Harvey L. Texter, Jr. and Richard A. Texter.
